Wine 101: Introduction to Wine
Take the pomp out of wine with our introduction to all things vinous over 5 weeks with our expert tutors, amazing wines and a whole lot of fun!
Arm yourself with the basics and begin your wine journey. We will cover all aspects of the winemaking process from vineyard to consumer. Fermentation, terroir, winemaker influence, regionality, varietal typicity and emerging trends – let’s embrace the inner wine nerd and have a few great glasses!
This course can also be bought as a gift for the wine geek in your family or friendship group – we’ll even provide a voucher to gift your friend.
COURSE OUTLINE
Week 1 – White wines of the world
Week 2 – Red wines of the world
Week 3 – Bubbles!
Week 4 – Ones to watch; alternate varietals
Week 5 – Graduation party! Dinner included.
Price; $295 for 5 weeks. Includes all material, tutorials, wines and dinner on the last week
We start at 7:00 PM every Wednesday, upstairs in our private dining room and run for 5 weeks.
*Please note Week 1 will run for 2.5 – 3 hours
